Dan Trott - Gym Manager & Personal Trainer

I have been a personal trainer for around 7 years now and have worked with a broad range of clients across the different gyms that I have worked at. I became a personal trainer to have an active job and because I enjoy teaching people and being a part of their development.

My fitness background comes in part from using the gym myself from a young age for the various sports I played growing up. I also spent a long time training at a kickboxing gym which rekindled my love for fitness and opened my eyes to a range of new fitness & training methods.

I love teaching clients boxing or simply using the focus pads for fitness and fun. I have also spent a lot of time working with mixed ability clients improving their strength and conditioning. Tracking strength progress is great and I find gives clients a tangible sign of progression which is brilliant!

My mum worked in a gym when I was young and so we spent our summer holidays running riot around the gym, squash courts and swimming pool. I always thought the personal trainers were so cool!
